A full set of 6 tool-free thumbscrews custom made for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 (87-2019) KLR650.

No need to go searching for one or more drivers or sockets to get your seat and side panels off! These thumbscrews are made from durable black Delrin, and feature a hole in case you need to use a hex wrench to tighten or loosen it.

Each set includes 2 pieces long thumbscrew for the rear, 2 short thumbscrews for the front, and an additional 2 long thumbscrews to access the seat without removing the side panels..

Why would you need these? Some customers drill holes in their side panels, to easily access their seat bolts. These thumbscrews are a natural replacement.

DIY drilling required. Works with OEM and also our own KLR650 side panels, but you still need to align and drill the access hole with your own seat bolt hole in the frame.
