Note: this ”Battery Relocate” left panel version uses the XR600 side panel design, and does not fit with the battery box in the original location. The battery box must be removed and air box retained for mounting.

This version was designed for those riders who removed their battery box and relocated the battery elsewhere, and want a slimmer, tighter-fitting side panel that hugs the frame without bulging.

The Hemisphere Offroad XR650L left and right side panel set offers a significant upgrade to your OEM side panels.

Our panels are molded in color from thick ABS plastic material, and CNC machined for precise hole alignment.

They follow the look of the original OEM parts but are significantly thicker, and use the same mounting points. But we addressed a weakness in the original injection molded design: the grommet studs which are prone to warping and breakage

Our side panels are mounted using the original Dzus OEM fasteners on the left side (you reuse your old ones) but the right panel mounts using CNC machined aluminum studs which are adjustable to best fit the grommet locations on your particular bike. These studs are mounted to the panel using supplied screws and a supplied L wrench, and the rear most stud is mounted to a triple-riveted aluminum mount plate that is also bonded to the side panel.

CLARKE TANK OWNERS NOTE: the Clarke tank shape near the side panels does not accurately copy the OEM metal tank, and we have had reports from a couple customers that they needed to trim the flange area that touches the rear of the tank. If you need to do this, rest assured that this does NOT affect our warranty in any way, we will still honor it. This is shown in a couple photos.
