As much as we love our XR650L’s, they have an Achilles heel: a weak subframe. Improve your bike’s carrying capacity by adding our subframe support to remedy this design weakness.

Made from 6061 and 5052 black anodized aluminum with stainless steel threaded inserts, our XR650L subframe support / stiffener will add significant, noticeable stiffness to your subframe and increase your load carrying capacity.

Compare ours against the competition: they use thin sheet metal dog-leg stiffeners, or the stiffener interferes with your exhaust because it is installed on the exterior of the bike. We use 10mm (3/8”) thick solid bars.

Our design is completely inside the bike frame, under the rear fender. We use the stock hardware locations, and include all hardware needed.

Our stiffener hoop is fastened very securely using 4x socket head screws, and ties the left and right frame stiffener bars together for even more rigidity.

NOTES:

1. If you have a 2021 model, check the underside of your frame. See photo. If your tube thick section extends as low as shown, our pre-2021 kit will not fit.

2. If you have side case racks / mounts installed, that use the turn signal bolts for mounting, let us know when you place your order - we will include extra long bolts in your kit.

3. Does not fit with a 130 Michelin Anakee Enduro tire

4. Does not fit with an IRC Trials GP-1 5.10-18 tire.
